We are starting to gear up for our Hosted/Guided adventures kicking off November 5th at Baines, Lower Zambezi. A couple of weeks later we embark on our (in)famous fully booked year end trips to the Upper Zambezi. The rains don’t begin in earnest until end December and the river is clear and easy to fish, summer time is Zambezi time.

Every year I host/guide groups on the Upper Zambezi from mid November until mid December, why? Well as every lodge owner and guide will tell you the fishing is, EXCELLENT!
During the Festive Season The Zambezi River is quiet as all the Joburg crowd are heading down to their Durbs, Plett or Cape Town holiday homes plus those dreadful office Christmas parties are hotting up. Sadly some of you are simply going to Romania or rather “Remain Here"...
